Overview:
Klubb Död (Stockholm) collaborates with PlusOne (Gothenburg) and proudly presents a packed night of two contemporary amazing postpunk acts from Denmark and Italy; The Foreign Resort and This Eternal Decay.

About the artists:

THE FOREIGN RESORT – Postpunk from Copenhagen at its best. Musically expressive, catchy and up-tempo are words to describe this Danish trio that mixes dark darkwave with explosive postpunk. Since their start in Copenhagen in 2009, The Foreign Resort has spent over a decade refining a sound that explodes with the raw energy of postpunk and dives into somber shades of melancholy. Their work stands out for its richness and tension, embodying both light and dark moods, and is imbued with emotional depth with an immediate impact. The Foreign Resort has toured and shared performances with bands such as Cold Cave, Killing Joke, The Soft Moon, She Past Away and many more. Since 2010, the band has played over 600 shows across North America and Europe, with appearances at several festivals including SXSW, Iceland Airwaves, Canadian Music Week, POP Montreal, Nocturnal Culture Night, Wave Gotik Treffen, Amphi Festival and W-Fest. The trio released the full-length album “Outnumbered” in 2019, the EP “The Rabbit Hole” in 2020 and “OutRemixed” in 2021. The band’s latest singles “Resound” and “Southern Skies” from their upcoming album were released in March and September 2024 on Artoffact Records.

THIS ETERNAL DECAY – This Eternal Decay consists of Riccardo Sabetti (Spiral69), Andrea Freda (Spiritual Front) and Alessio Schiavi (Avant-Garde). The sound of the Rome-based trio is a blend of industrial, dark wave and synthpop. Their debut album, “I Choose an Eternity of This”, was released in 2018 and quickly gained a lot of attention. In April 2020, they released their second album, “Silence”, which featured collaborations with Stockholm band Then Comes Silence and Theatres des Vampires. Despite the pandemic and canceled tours, the album received very positive reviews and three reissues within five months. In 2023, they released their fourth album, “Absølutiøn”, followed by a European tour with over 30 shows at major festivals such as Castle Party and Prague Gothic Treffen – all sold out and highly acclaimed. Their latest album, “Spettro”, was released on January 10, 2025 via Swiss Dark Nights, with singles such as “Rise & Fall”, “Cold Fear” and “Red Orchid.”
